Exospines are equippable enhancements that shape EVE's combat style. Swap them based on the enemy, region, or whether you want to emphasize offense, defense, or exploration.

Exospine	Effect	Best For
Chain-Type Exospine	Boosts combo attack power, crit damage, and crit rate on high-level combos.	Melee combo builds and sustained DPS.
Grenadier-Type Exospine	Increases combat consumable damage, effect, and area of effect.	Grenade-focused crowd control against normal enemies.
Protection-Type Exospine	Reduces incoming damage, raises shield protection level, and can restore HP while guarding at low health.	Beginners or anyone who needs extra survivability.
Impact-Type Exospine	Raises crit rate and unleashes chained unstable energy on critical hits.	Fighting groups of enemies and crit-heavy builds.
Camouflage-Type Exospine	Reduces enemy detection range, boosts melee power after executions, and restores HP on successful execution.	Stealth ambushes and exploration.
Eagle Eye-Type Exospine	Boosts ranged attack power, increases ammo capacity, and can recover ammo when hitting weaknesses from a distance.	Ranged sections and drone-focused play.
